Open Meetings

2007 has seen us holding Open Meetings at Weston, Cowbit, Pinchbeck, Crowland and Spalding. Diverse subjects as Wills, Power of Attorney, Doorstep crime (Trading Standards), Benefits, Tax, “Dial a Ride”, “Choose and Book” and local Policing have been discussed over the year.

Open Meetings are planned as follows:-

6th March 2008 in Spalding

22nd May 2008 in Pinchbeck

17th July 2008 in Gosberton

18th September 2008 in Spalding (AGM)

20th November 2008 in Cowbit

Speakers are to be arranged but we hope to have the local CAB Manager, Mark Thompson from LPCT on “Out of Hours” Dr service and a speaker on Going into Care. Any suggestions for speakers will be welcome.
