2009 has seen us holding Open Meetings at Weston, Surfleet, Pinchbeck, and Spalding.  Diverse subjects as Policing, Highways, Council Tax, NHS, First Contact and an eye condition called Age-Related Macular Degeneration have been discussed over the past year. More light-hearted speakers were a retired Prison Governor and Sue Cadman of the dance group the Roly Polys.

Next year’s Open Meetings are planned as follows:-

4th March 2010 in Spalding

May 2010 in Weston – date to be decided later

8th July 2010 in Spalding

16th September 2010 in Spalding (AGM)

18th November 2010 in Cowbit

Speakers are to be arranged but we hope to have the talks on Digital Switchover, First Responders and Assessing of Care Homes.  We also propose to have some more light-hearted speakers.                                      

Any suggestions for speakers will be welcome.
